Are you a fan of the Percy Jackson series?
I was lucky enough to meet Rick Riordan on Saturday when he visited Kepler's to talk about The Last Olympian, the last volume in the Percy Jackson series. What a charming man. You should have seen the crowd - 600 easily! And apparently he's turning to the Egyptian gods next. Can't wait.

What a great interview. Makes me wish that I had read this series. I am glad that you had an enjoyable event.
Wonderful event. Lots and lots and lots of kids. And all very patient at the amount of time they had to wait to get their book signed.
I was at Kepler's, too. Also impressed by the patience of the kids, and the patience of the author (and the Kepler's staff, for that matter - what a crowd!).
