This week I'm reading The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan (oh, it's SO good, very hard to put down) and here's my teaser:
Everything is happening too quickly. I just want to sit here and pretend that nothing has changed. But I know it's useless. Everything is changed. My best friend will be taken away. The council will find out my mother's gone. And Catcher will die.
The only question is, what will be left of me in the end?

Oo great teaser! I can't wait to read this one-the cover looks beautiful.
I can't wait to read this one. I liked Forest of Hands and Teeth for the most part. I want to know what happens next!
I really do like this book (review soon) but it's not a continuation of Mary's story from Forest of Hands and Teeth as such, it's the story of her daughter. We do get Mary's story of course in the background. I was disconcerted by this at first but on reflection think it was a perfect way to move on with the story, to say something new.
