I did mention that I was obsessing about the upcoming visit by Laurie Halse Anderson, didn't I?
Well, I wanted to share this trailer for Wintergirls so you can get ready for her visit.
(I do feel the need to add that as it flashed 'must not eat', I was eating raspberry honey almonds. And no, I didn't put them away!)
omg yes! i saw this and was freaking out!!! looks soo neat! publishers are stepping it up now and making some amazing trailers.
ReplyDeleteI love these trailers because I am such a visual person. I believe that any media that can bring in an audience is great.
ReplyDeleteWhomever made this trailer did a good job
I agree. I love these trailers. They bring a whole new dimension to the book and just pull you in. I'm sure we'll be seeing more and more of them.
ReplyDeleteThese trailers, do they have them on TV in America, or are they just a you tube thing that the publishers circulate online? Don't know that we have them down in Oz! They're pretty cool, though.
ReplyDeleteI've only seen them on youtube and on publishers web sites. Sadly we don't see ads on TV for books (yet).
ReplyDeleteI saw a book trailer on TV once, but it was for a super big author who I happen to forget all about.
ReplyDeleteThis trailer was quite impressive and very intense-feeling. I loved SPEAK, so hopefully this book is just as good.
